Lessons Learned beim internationalen Workshop

Agile coaches welcome colleagues from Volkswagen Group Technology Solutions India in Wolfsburg

Corporate and product culture, these are the buzzwords when it comes to the exchange of agile teams. But what are the projects that move the Indian colleagues of Volkswagen Group Technology Solutions India (VWITS)? To be able to answer these and other questions, there was an exciting attendance week in Wolfsburg. 

For this purpose, the agile pilots designed a varied social programme in order to expand the intensive cooperation with the colleagues from VWITS for the future.

The agenda was filled with many joint activities on all five days. The meeting started with an official round in which the backgrounds, highlights and goals of both groups of participants were presented. There was a lively exchange on the presentations of their own portfolios and cultural peculiarities from India and Germany were discussed. Another meeting with the Business Unit Manager for Digiltalization & Governance Jan Minck rounded off the first part of the programme. 

The agile pilot Dörte Portz led through a colourful Lego Serious Play session and afterwards all participants went to the Autostadt Wolfsburg to round off the day. 

At the end of the workshop week, all participants, whether from the Agile Center of Excellence (ACE) or the VWITS team, agreed: It was five exciting days that went by far too quickly. The backlog of own topics has grown and all workshop participants are looking forward to further exchange and international cooperation. 

„The workshop between VWGIS Agile Center of Excellence and VWITS Product Culture Center of Excellence was a great success in our opinion, as the theme, ‚Collaboration‘ was lived by everyone during the entire week. It was not limited to sharing the status or only success stories so far but the real essence of success was to break the ice and building the trust to share the challenges faced.

The mutual learnings help each other to grow in right direction and the achievements motivates. We look forward for the holistically effective growth of the entire team together and to extend the expertise to other VW group companies too.
