Ceremonial handover of the first management licenses in the Power[UP] process

Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Germany] has reached an important milestone in the qualification of managers: On February 9, 2026, management licenses were awarded to team leaders for the first time as part of the Group-wide established Power[UP] process.

At this point we would like to say congratulations to our first five graduates: Frances, Tanja Andreas, Witold and Jacobus-Stephan.

This ceremonial handover marks not only the successful completion of an intensive development journey, but also the starting point for a new, uniform standard in the qualification of managers within our organization.

With Power[UP], a joint, clearly defined and high-quality development and recognition process has been created. Central to this are:

  • Uniform minimum standards, based on the Group-wide People Profile
  • Focus on individual development, instead of a one-size-fits-all program
  • High quality of leadership skills across the organization
  • Group-wide recognition and granting of the management license

In doing so, we deliberately avoided a pure assessment system and opted for an individual potential analysis – an approach that does justice to the experience and grown roles of the team leaders already working.

With the successful participation and receipt of their leadership license, the team leaders show what positive development is possible when reflection, professional support and personal initiative work together.

We are very proud of the achievements of our graduates:

  • on their open and constructive cooperation during the pilot phase
  • on their visible further development
  • and the valuable contribution they are already making to the management team of Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Germany]

We are looking forward to many more graduates and wish our first licensees continued success and joy on their professional development path.
