Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Germany] has reached an important milestone in the qualification of managers: On February 9, 2026, management licenses were awarded to team leaders for the first time as part of the Group-wide established Power[UP] process.
At this point we would like to say congratulations to our first five graduates: Frances, Tanja Andreas, Witold and Jacobus-Stephan.
This ceremonial handover marks not only the successful completion of an intensive development journey, but also the starting point for a new, uniform standard in the qualification of managers within our organization.
With Power[UP], a joint, clearly defined and high-quality development and recognition process has been created. Central to this are:
In doing so, we deliberately avoided a pure assessment system and opted for an individual potential analysis – an approach that does justice to the experience and grown roles of the team leaders already working.
With the successful participation and receipt of their leadership license, the team leaders show what positive development is possible when reflection, professional support and personal initiative work together.
