Between September and February, the Sales & After Sales department made significant progress in strengthening international cooperation within the Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions Group.

For the first time, colleagues from Germany, Portugal and India have networked systematically and regularly at the operational level, thus creating a new quality of exchange – openly, pragmatically and on an equal footing.

The focus was on getting to know the most important contacts in all three countries, understanding the respective responsibilities and a joint overview of ongoing projects. The personal and cultural exchange at meetings in Hanover, Lisbon and Pune clearly showed how much direct communication accelerates progress, creates trust and increases transparency.

Why face-to-face meetings are so valuable

In addition to the professional exchange, the on-site meetings have proven to be a decisive success factor. When people work directly with each other, there is a deeper and immediate understanding of common topics: ideas develop more spontaneously, challenges are solved faster and decisions are made more clearly and robustly.

At the same time, mutual understanding of working methods and cultural backgrounds is growing. This direct form of cooperation creates trust, orientation and clarity – and visibly accelerates international projects. It strengthens team spirit and ensures that colleagues from all three countries move forward together.
