Tech Unscripted: A live Q&A session on transformation, AI and the future of Volkswagen

At the end of March, Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] hosted Tech Unscripted, a one-hour live Q&A that aimed to take a behind-the-scenes look at how strategies are designed, why certain programs rise to the top 10, and what really drives decision-making in one of the world’s largest tech organizations.

The session brought together an exceptional panel: Felix Krüger, CEO of Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal], as moderator, Sidharth Yadav, Group CEO of Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions, Dr. Cornelius Menig, Head of Volkswagen Group IT Applications & Platforms and Andreas Schmidt, Head of Volkswagen Group IT Finance & Resources.

In a hybrid format – a full room on site and more than 200 people online – the exchange was characterized by openness, curiosity and a healthy dose of humor.

The executives asked questions about how strategy is actually set in global IT, which initiatives have the greatest impact, how Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions can accelerate the Group’s ambitions, and what it means to use artificial intelligence responsibly and at scale.

As the discussion moved around accelerating AI-powered transformation and strengthening our global network, one idea remained constant: the future of global IT will be shaped by the people closest to work – our teams.

And this future is already in motion.
